About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center Gainesville. As the leader of our Front Office team, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest service and a smooth operation. You will provide guidance and leadership to your team, ensuring they deliver consistent quality customer service and uphold the Pyramid Hotel Group's high standards. Responsibilities: Leadership and Communication: Provide clear and effective verbal and written communication to motivate and guide your team. Conduct performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback for continuous improvement. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the Front Office. Guest Service: Greet guests warmly and professionally, making them feel welcome and valued. Handle the registration process efficiently and accurately, utilizing the hotel's computer system. Assist guests with room selection based on their needs and preferences. Remain calm and composed during busy periods and emergency situations. Effectively resolve guest concerns and complaints to ensure their satisfaction. Financial Management: Handle cash transactions accurately and balance the assigned house bank. Accept and process various forms of payment, including vouchers, traveler's checks, and foreign currency. Post charges to guest rooms and house accounts accurately using the computer system. Administrative Duties: Answer the phone in a friendly and professional manner. Input and retrieve messages for guests using the computer system. Manage guest mail, packages, and faxes. Additional Responsibilities: Perform basic mathematical calculations using a calculator. Adapt to changing situations and make sound decisions based on experience and judgment. Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Qualifications Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Front Desk Agent or in a similar customer service role. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software. Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive and welcoming demeanor.
