Overview ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Acts as host / hostess by welcoming guests, solving problems, and ensuring guests have a great stay. · Acts as Manager on Duty when required and performs necessary tasks associated with the role including property inspections, liaison with all other departments, creates and sends MOD report as needed nightly.. · Must be proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. · Implements policies and procedures consistent with company policies. Ensures the welfare and comfort of our guests. · Generates and interprets reports and forecasts for Front Desk, Engineering, and Housekeeping. · Develops and maintains operating / training manuals for the Front Desk and Guest Services. · Oversees reservations group coordinator, front desk, assistant front office manager and supervisors. · Maintains the integrity of the Logs utilized by the front desk are all current. · Acts as a liaison and supports Conference Planners, the Conference Desk, Housekeeping and Engineering. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE · Requires advanced knowledge of specialized or technical field or a thorough knowledge of the practices and techniques of a professional field. · This position requires a minimum of three years job-related experience. · Strong written and verbal communication, decision-making and organizational skills. You should be a leader who can both lead and supervise employees and provide customer service to hotel guests. · Requires knowledge of policies & procedures, and the ability to determine a course of action based on these guidelines when needed.
