We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front-End Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge front-end solutions for our web applications. As a Front-End Architect, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to create seamless, interactive, and responsive user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities Architectural Design and Development
Lead the architectural design and development of front-end applications using React.js. Ensure the scalability, maintainability, and performance of front-end solutions. Create and enforce best practices for front-end development, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing methodologies. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development and incorporate them into the architecture when appropriate.Collaboration and Leadership
Work closely with product owners to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the feasibility and usability of designs. Coordinate with engineers to ensure seamless integration with RESTful APIs and other services. Mentor and guide engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Performance Optimization
Analyze and optimize the performance of front-end applications to ensure fast load times and smooth user experiences. Implement techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and server-side rendering to enhance performance. Monitor and address performance bottlenecks and issues proactively.Code Quality and Testing
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices. Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests. Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.Documentation
Create and maintain detailed documentation of the front-end architecture, design patterns, and development processes. Document technical specifications, workflows, and best practices for the team to follow.Requirements Technical Skills
Proven experience as a Front-End Architect or a similar role, with a strong portfolio of web applications. Practical experience implementing modern front-end technologies into legacy systems as a step towards architectural transformation. Proficient in React.js and its core principles, including state management (e.g., Redux, Context API). Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end development frameworks and libraries. Experience with front-end build tools and pipelines, such as Webpack, Babel, and npm. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling. Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and best practices. Experience with server-side rendering. Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools, such as Jest, Mocha, and Cypress. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Soft Skills
