Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Front End Developer II in PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania. As a Front End Developer, your main role will be to translate design concepts into functioning HTML/CSS/JS, participate in project management, and work with a variety of CMS and ecommerce systems. You will also be required to ensure software applications adhere to internal business requirements or external customers, standardize quality assurance, and oversee testing and development of fixes. Responsibilities: • Translating design concepts into functional HTML/CSS/JS • Participating in project management and design development • Working with a variety of CMS and ecommerce systems and frameworks • Coding software applications to adhere to designs that support internal business requirements and external customers • Standardizing the quality assurance procedure for software • Overseeing testing and developing fixes • Working on redesign and maintenance projects that impact how our customers perceive our brand • Developing new user-facing features • Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability • Assuring that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end • Participating in code reviews • Enabling and configuring necessary plugins to power the site's functionality • Identifying blockers and applying creative solutions within company guidelines • Staying updated on current trends in web development Requirements Skills: - May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 3 to 5 years' experience in the field or in a related area - Has knowledge of standard concepts practices and procedures within a front-end development - A certain degree of creativity and latitude required.
