Job Title: Front-end Developer Lead

Job Overview:
We seek an experienced and dynamic Front-end Developer Lead to guide our front-end development team in delivering scalable and maintainable solutions for SaaS products. This role requires a leader with strong technical expertise in front-end development and the ability to manage squad-scrum teams, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative and high-performing environment. You will be instrumental in shaping the user experience by driving the adoption of best practices, ensuring code quality, and mentoring developers. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Lead and mentor a team of front-end developers, providing technical guidance and support.Develop responsive and scalable user interfaces for SaaS platforms.Implement design systems and component libraries using ITCSS (Inverted Triangle CSS) and BEM (Block, Element, Modifier) methodologies.Manage design tokens and style variables using Style-Dictionary to ensure consistent branding and design across platforms.Build and integrate front-end components using Vanilla JavaScript and .NET Stack.Optimize front-end performance and ensure applications are accessible, fast, and cross-browser compatible.Utilize automation tools like Chromatic and Playwright for testing and component validation.Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and back-end developers to deliver seamless user experiences.Ensure applications adhere to WebCore Vitals, web performance best practices, and SEO guidelines.Facilitate squad-scrum ceremonies, manage sprint planning, and track team progress.Resolve conflicts within the team, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive and inclusive team environment.Advocate for continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of emerging technologies.Conducted performance reviews, set goals, and helped team members develop technical and professional skills.

Qualifications: 

Proven experience as a Front-end Developer Lead or Senior Front-end Developer with leadership responsibilities.Experience managing squad-scrum teams and leading agile development processes.Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).Hands-on experience with CSS methodologies, including ITCSS and BEM.Familiarity with design token management using Style-Dictionary.Experience with Vanilla JavaScript and C#.Proficiency in building interfaces using Razor Pages.Proficiency in front-end frameworks/libraries like React, Vue, or Angular.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.Understand RESTful APIs and integration of front-end applications with back-end services.Strong problem-solving skills, conflict resolution, and team management experience.Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience with Webpack, Vite, or similar build tools.Knowledge of TypeScript.Familiarity with RxJS, Redux, requireJS, Webpack, and gulp.Experience with automation tools like Chromatic and Playwright.Knowledge of design and prototyping tools like Figma and component libraries like Storybook.Familiarity with automated testing frameworks for front-end applications.Understanding WebCore Vitals, web performance optimization, and SEO best practices.Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.
