Front End Engineer II, SMGS Ops - DP&I - Sales Planning Tools

The AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) Planning Tools team is looking for a passionate, innovative, results-oriented Front End Engineer (FEE) to build solutions that make it simpler for our field team to manage and operate at scale. As a FEE on the SMGS Planning Tools team, you’ll contribute to defining and building the world class UX in Salesforce and Planning Tools built on AWS services for the AWS Sales organization. In addition to working on the latest AWS and Salesforce technologies, you’ll have the opportunity to innovate in the space of Sales Planning and Management. You’ll be chartered with creating and operating applications that deliver critical capabilities to the field, and with embedding operational knowledge and encoding best practices into everything we do.

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities
- Write, test and deploy code using Amazon and AWS tools.
- Help define front end architectures, own and implement specific components, and help shape the overall user experience
- Collaborate closely with UX Designers, Product Managers, and Software Development Engineers to help deliver the product
- Participate in on-call rotation
