The Line / Prep Cook will be an essential member of Woodward Park City's Food and Beverage team, reporting to the senior food and Beverage Manager. The successful applicant will assist in day-to-day kitchen operations, ingredient preparation, and menu execution with the senior manager's assistance and coordination.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and execution of kitchen operations with direction from the Kitchen Supervisor.

Communicate with guests and staff efficiently in a guest-facing open-line environment.

Prepare and serve a variety of menu items with high-quality flavor, texture, and presentation.

Maintain speed of service expectations for all items on the menu

Use established best practices for daily operations

Use industry-standard recipe/inventory tracking.

Maintain facilities and cleanliness standards.

Create and maintain a culture of safety in all areas of the kitchen.

Ensure a high level of guest service and engagement every day.

Be proactive, adjust to fluctuations in guest counts, and work calmly in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and learn new skills.

Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Food / Beverage Experience is highly preferred.

Entry-level candidates are welcome with a willingness to learn and devotion to the positive guest experience.

Culinary degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

Proficiency in high-volume kitchen operations is a plus.

Ability to collaborate well across functions and departments and work as a team.

Basic Requirements:

Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.

Minimum Age: 18 years old

Food Handler's Certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days)

Must be comfortable working in an all-season environment.

Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as agreed upon between staff and employer.
