Position Overview
Teddy Morse’s Daytona Harley-Davidson, part of the Ed Morse Automotive Group, is currently seeking a Front Office Manager at the Clarion Inn at Destination Daytona.
Responsibilities
1. Front Desk Leadership & Operations:
•Supervise and guide the front desk team to ensure excellent guest service, timely check-ins/check-outs, and accurate financial transactions.
•Lead the front desk team by example, promoting a positive and professional attitude while maintaining brand standards and upholding hotel policies.
•Handle guest complaints or escalations, providing quick, efficient solutions.
•Ensure adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and standards, conducting training as necessary to maintain compliance.
2. Condo-Hotel Management:
•Assist the GM in updating and implementing condo policies in collaboration with the management company, ensuring policies are up to date and reflect the needs of both the owners and hotel guests.
•Maintain positive relationships with condo owners, addressing their questions, concerns, or complaints in a professional and responsive manner.
•Provide initial assistance with condo owners’ maintenance requests by coordinating communication and following up as needed to maintain building integrity.
•Stay familiar with the condo owner contact list and unit information (via an Excel sheet) to handle inquiries or issues as they arise.
3. Revenue Management & 3rd Party Liaison:
•Share responsibility with the GM for monitoring and managing third-party bookings, including CLC, OTA (Online Travel Agency) bookings, and other company contracts.
•Stay up to date with revenue management programs and updates, implementing changes and adjustments at least bi-weekly as part of ongoing strategy meetings.
•Monitor third-party compliance, rate integrity, and ensure smooth reservation handling and billing processes.
4. Staff Training & Development:
•Conduct training for new front desk employees on hotel procedures, brand standards, and guest service expectations.
•Continuously coach and develop the front desk team, monitoring performance and providing feedback to foster a positive work environment.
•Work with the GM to implement brand programs and ensure front desk operations align with company goals.
5. Guest Satisfaction & Brand Standards:
•Ensure guest satisfaction is consistently prioritized by addressing concerns, identifying areas for service improvement, and following up on guest feedback.
•Maintain the front desk’s knowledge of current promotions, amenities, and hotel offerings to ensure guests receive accurate and helpful information.
6. Administrative Support:
•Assist in maintaining accurate records for all front desk-related tasks, including daily reports, room availability, and guest preferences.
•Handle guest check-ins/check-outs during peak times and provide backup support to front desk staff as needed.
Qualifications•2+ years of hospitality experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
•Strong understanding of front desk operations, guest service standards, and revenue management practices.
•Ability to handle complex guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
•Proficient in hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Excel.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
•Experience working in a condo-hotel or mixed-use property.
•Knowledge of OTA systems and third-party booking management.
•Experience in policy creation and implementation is a plus.
