Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage three different EMR tools to check patients in, collect their insurance information, and send the information to the rooming medical assistants. The role involves using NexGen, Phreesia, and Emma EMR systems.
Responsibilities
+ Check patients in using three EMR tools: NexGen, Phreesia, and Emma.
+ Collect and verify patients' insurance information.
+ Send collected information to rooming medical assistants.
+ Provide excellent customer service at the front desk.
+ Perform data entry, filing, and clerical tasks as needed.
+ Offer administrative support to the medical team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Healthcare knowledge such as Medical Assistant (MA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Front Desk Receptionist for a healthcare office
+ Willingness to obtain the Derm Tech Certification (ACDT), which is valid for three years and renewable
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesday from 7:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Wednesday from 6:45 AM to 4:45 PM, and Thursday from 6:45 AM to 4:45 PM. Friday hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30/4:00 PM. The team consists of three physicians and one other front desk staff member.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00
