Job Title: Front Office Medical Assistant - Cardiology Clinic

Description:

We're seeking a highly skilled and organized Front Office Medical Assistant to join our cardiology team in Fort Worth! As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, handling front and back office duties, and supporting our clinical staff.

Responsibilities:

- Manage front office operations, including handling phones, routing calls, and greeting patients

- Perform vital signs, room patients, and prepare them for exams

- Assist with medical documentation, filing, and electronic health record (EHR) management

- Handle calls with patients, doctors, and insurance companies, providing timely and accurate information

- Verify insurance, schedule appointments, and perform triage duties as needed

- Explain procedures and treatments to patients, addressing their questions and concerns

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting certification or degree preferred

- Experience in a medical office or clinical setting (cardiology experience a plus)

- Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent oral communication and customer service skills

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information

- Bilingual skills a plus, but not required

- Proficiency in NextGen EHR system a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
