Position Information Position Information Position Availability: Position Title: Front Office Student Assistant, SUS/BPATS, SPE Requisition Number: 0406073449 Location New York City Position Type: Student Department: SPE/Dean's Office Responsibilities: The Schools of Public Engagement (SPE) is seeking a Front Desk Student Assistant to work in the School of Undergraduate Studies. SPE comprises the School of Media Studies; the School of Undergraduate Studies; the Milano School of Policy, Management, and Environment; the Creative Writing Program; and the Julien J. Studley Graduate Programs in International Affairs, as well as several programs, research centers and institutes.

This is an on-campus position that begins in late August 2024. Ideal applicants are able to work throughout the fall 2024 and spring 2025 semesters.
The work mode for this position is onsite. The starting pay is $16/hr.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with in-person, telephone, and email inquiries Direct calls/emails/requests for faculty, administrators, or other departments/programs Provide clerical support for SUS/BPATS staff and faculty as assigned, including data entry, creating flyers, events and other projects Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Professional with excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication (written and verbal) skills Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently and use good judgment Punctual and reliable Tech savvy with command of Google Drive, Microsoft Suite, and Zoom Attention to detail Friendly demeanor and a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in Adobe Suite a plus
Prior experience in an administrative support position
