Our client, a leader in technology solutions, is seeking a Frontend Developer to join their team. As a Frontend Developer, you will be part of the development team supporting the HR Connect application. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Frontend Developer
**Location:** Riverside, RI (Hybrid - 3 days Onsite)
**What's the Job?**
+ Develop and enhance the front-end of the HR Connect application using JavaScript, React, and HTML.
+ Remediate a list of ADA findings to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1A requirements.
+ Implement best practices related to ARIA attributes, headers, lists, forms, and overall DOM hierarchy.
+ Test application compatibility with assistive technologies, including screen readers like JAWS.
+ Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality deliverables without direct client interaction.
**What's Needed?**
+ 5 years of experience in front-end development.
+ Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
+ Understanding of WCAG standards and best practices.
+ Familiarity with screen readers and keyboard navigation.
+ Knowledge of Java programming is a plus.
