We are seeking a **Frontload Driver** to join our team at our hauling site in **Bridge City, LA** . This role involves operating a commercial garbage truck along designated routes to pick up solid waste and transport it to a designated disposal location. It is a physically demanding position that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. + A typical schedule is Monday - Friday, rotating Saturday's. The start time is between 3AM-5AM, depending on assigned route, working 10-11 hours a day. + Starting pay is $21/hr. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Ability to safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solidwaste.Wasteexperience _preferred_ , but not required. + Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher. + Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids,safetyequipment, and tires. + Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers. + Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose oftrashat designated facilities. + Courteousinteraction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. **Requirements:** + Class A or B Commercial Drivers License. + Clean driving record. + 1+ year of commercial driving experience. **Why work for Waste Connections?** + Competitive Compensation + Yearly Boot Stipend + Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits + Matching 401(K) + Stable year-round work! _Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
