FSQA Assistant Manager
Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a FSQA Assistant Manager to join their team. As a FSQA Assistant Manager, you will be part of the Food Safety and Quality Assurance department supporting a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a hands-on management approach which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** FSQA Assistant Manager **Location:** Chandler, TX **What's the Job?** + Lead the FSQA team for the assigned shift, including supervisory and hourly FSQA team members. + Develop, implement, and verify adequate food safety and quality training for plant team members and quality assurance staff. + Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with written protocols, maintaining the highest product safety and sanitation levels. + Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. + Assist plant management with food safety, quality standards, and compliance education for FSQA staff. **What's Needed?** + A Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science, Meat/Animal Science, or a related science discipline is preferred. + A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food processing and quality management, preferably in FDA and USDA-regulated products. + Former supervisory experience or demonstrated potential to hire and develop salaried supervisory employees. + Strong technical knowledge of food quality/safety procedures and regulatory requirements. + Ability to analyze data and make effective decisions while working under pressure. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a reputable organization. + Engagement in meaningful work that upholds food safety and quality standards. + Professional development through training and hands-on management experience. + Collaborative work environment that values diverse perspectives. + Potential for relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis.
