Summary:
The Director of FSQA Alaska Operations will be responsible for the development and management of Quality & Food Safety Systems and tools for manufacturing locations to drive all Quality, Food Safety and regulatory compliance and initiatives across Alaska primary processing locations. This role will develop strategic plans to drive the execution of current and future Quality & Food Safety initiatives through enhancements to current systems or design and implementation of new systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops and implements strategic actions and initiatives for Trident’s product processes within Trident’s Alaska operations that ensure compliance with the current and future regulatory landscape and customer commitments. Evaluates food safety incidents to identify potential trends; leverages findings to proactively improve and strengthen current processes. Plans, promotes, organizes, and provides multi-facility food safety and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), sensory and other FSQA related training activities. Drive strategy, development and governance for food safety system compliance and provide insights for future system enhancement. Maintain regulatory & third party (GFSI) compliance oversight in the production of safe, quality, legal, wholesome, and authentic food production. Partners with R&D on new and existing projects, and review plant performance to drive improvements. Provides guidance and support to direct site FSQA Managers and Senior FSQA Managers assigned to support Alaska operations. Works with cross-functional team members in developing, maintaining, and updating new and existing product specifications. Overseas and executes FSQA audits on new and existing Raw Materials and Finished Products suppliers. Works with VP of FSQA to manage FSQA Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) related management action plan. Partners with Seattle Support Center (SCC) Data Analysts to design and drive Trident SSC FSQA KPIs and continuous improvement activities. Manages the development of team members. Removes roadblocks, pushes communications, encourages, and assesses performance. Embraces problem-solving as a learning experience.
This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $130,000 to $170,000.
