Schedule: 3:45am - upon completion of assigned duties.

Pay: $16.70/hr (+$1.00)

SUMMARY:  Responsible for ensuring compliance with the company’s HACCP, SSOP, Animal Welfare, and GMP programs by completing the necessary paperwork along with ensuring product adheres to Tecumseh Poultry and USDA guidelines. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

Inspect and audit products for adherence of Tecumseh Poultry and USDA guidelinesData collection and record keeping activitiesPerforms all necessary SSOP monitoring and completes all paperwork.Perform necessary HACCP monitoring of the birds and completes necessary paperworkOther duties as assigned

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:

In the absence of a FSQA technician I, a trained FSQA technician will take on all quality and food safety related duties conducted by a FSQA technician I.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to communicate FSQA standards with production associates, maintenance associates, USDA, management and other FSQA techsAbility to work safely and effectivelyAbility to work efficiently at a fast pace; managing time while meeting scheduling requirementsMust be able to work independently and make decisionsWillingness to function as part of a team and work toward team goalsEagerness to learn new ideasPreparedness to assist in other areas of production and work overtime as required

Education and/or Experience:

Experience in a meat processing facility preferredHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredBasic computer knowledge requiredMust be able to perform basic arithmetic and calculations

Must be able to communicate effectively

Physical Requirements / Environment:
