Principal Accountabilities

Completing pre-operation and work alongside USDAMonitoring of product temperature, weight checks, seal checks, label verification and packagingHACCP monitoring of all productsPerforming sensory evaluations of product such as Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) testing which may include smelling and visual inspectionsPreventative maintenance on FSQR equipmentMay teach, train, or coach others on work activities, methods and proceduresEnsuring all stakeholders follow GMPs, good housekeeping and maintain plant policies, a safe working environment, and be a champion of personal food safetyMaintaining a safe working environmentChampion of personal safety and food safetyStanding for long periods of time, the use of stairs and ladders, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas of the facilityPerform pre-operational inspections Audit product and processes for specification compliance including sampling and testing product as requiredSample and test product as required Perform operational SSOP, HACCP and SOPs audits as requiredSupport Production as a specification resource Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Authorized to work in the United StatesMust be eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderAbility to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs with or without accommodationsBasic use of a computerBasic math skillsMust be able to complete quality forms, HACCP forms, SSOPs and other forms as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in manufacturing or other high paced environmentsPrevious food safety or quality experience
