Operators of fuel facilities are responsible for the operation, inspection, minor maintenance, and general housekeeping of various fuel infrastructure around the airport. Operators also manually handle fuel for testing purposes in accordance with applicable directives and are tasked with having attention to detail when documenting forms associated with facility and equipment inspections, fuel analysis, etc. Additionally, the Fuel Facilities Operator must always place a high emphasis on safety while complying with Swissport’s polices on safety. The expected pay rate is $23.28/hr. Your activities Receiving petroleum products into fuel facilities via multiple delivery modes which include pipeline and tanker trucks. Operating / monitoring equipment used to receive, store and issue petroleum products. Quality control of fuel IAW applicable directives Quality control of facilities / infrastructure IAW applicable directives Occasionally assisting mechanics with minor repairs of facilities / equipment Upkeep / cleaning of facilities Completing / updating records and forms accurately Operating / monitoring automated fueling systems (Human Machine Interface - HMI) Clearly and accurately communicating information to supervision, management, customers, etc. Assisting with fuel spill cleanup, as required Operating fuel sampling / testing equipment Operating / inspecting vehicles including general purpose and vacuum trucks Abiding by all company policies, which include those policies directed by station-level management.
