Fuel Pricing Manager

Position Summary: 

The Fuel Pricing Manager will be responsible for coordination of fuel products and troubleshoot issues and facilitate communication between internal departments and Suppliers/Carriers. While assisting with Day to Day Fuel Operations for Heartland Division 

 

Essential Job Functions: 

Own day-to-day retail pricing of assigned markets, utilizing a combination of proprietary and licensed software applications. 

Facilitate/Coordinate communication between supplier representatives and logistics to troubleshoot any loading and allocation related issues 

Facilitate communication between carriers and logistics teams to ensure products remain in-stock 

Report as necessary on fuels and marketing data to determine competitive market conditions and optimum fuel and supply strategy. 

General support across multiple business functions (marketing, sales, operations, finance, supply & logistics) for the fuel department. 

Maintain compliance with federal, State, and local laws regarding supply management, and record keeping for all fuels, ethanol, and additive handling. 

Communicate with cross-functional teams to assist with environmental and maintenance related activities at store locations. 

Create clear and concise reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present data-driven insights to key stakeholders.  Utilizing tools such as Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization platforms to communicate complex data in an easily understandable format. 

Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting quality checks, identifying errors or inconsistencies, and implementing necessary corrective measures. 

Assist in analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and operational metrics to provide actionable insights.  Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization based on data findings 

Travel up to 20% 

 

To properly perform the duties of this position as outlined above, it is essential that the individual be able to meet the following physical demands: 

Ability to work under tight deadlines, interruptions, and stressful situations 

Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time & operate computer keyboard for data entry. 

Ability to position self to maintain workspace and files including under the desk. 

Ability to move up to 50 pounds. 

Ability to communicate to various internal cross functional team members and external customers in a manner consistent with business needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. 

Ability to observe computer screen for data entry. 

Ability to use office technology
