ME Propulsion Systems Adelanto department is excited to announce a new opportunity of Power Plan Engineering Supervisor role who will support both the propulsion and fuel system engineering challenges in a rapid Research & Development environment.

This position is in Adelanto, CA (the High Desert) at the research n development Facility. Your team’s new assignments will be outlined in terms of high-level requirements and schedule depending on the project and the customer. On these projects your team will be reviewed largely at design gates like RR (requirements review) PDR (Preliminary design review) CDR (Critical design review) TRR (Test readiness review). Your team will be required on new projects to manage your system from concept to a deployed assets and all aspects of this start to finish approach.  You will be required to initiates the planning of engineering projects and develop innovative designs or modifications to meet complex project goals. Independently performs difficult/complex engineering work with instructions as to the general expected results. Documents findings, communicates results to engineering staff, makes technical presentations, and may represent the organization as the prime technical contact on small contracts or single component projects. Provides direction to design or technical staff and may lead a team of moderately experienced professional staff.

Under general directions with limited review, this position is responsible for applying innovative approaches to resolving unusual or complex Propulsion and Fuel System related engineering problems. This is a supervisor position in the ME Propulsion Systems Adelanto, and you will be required to manage a unique and capable team of Engineers on several existing and new projects dealing with both propulsion and fuel system in a rapid R&D environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Supports operation of engineering systems and documents any problems.Devises new approaches to resolve unusual or complex engineering problems.Troubleshoot conflicting design/development requirements, difficult coordination requirements, and special material requirements.Provides documentation and makes technical presentations as required.May represent the organization as the prime technical contact on small contracts or single component projects.Provides direction to design or technical staff and may lead a team of moderately experienced professional staff.Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.Performs other duties as assigned.Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.High level engineering customer interface (Program Management and External Customers).High Level Requirements.SOW (Statement of Work).BOE (Basis of Estimate).Procurement RFQ/RFI Development and Support.Requirements Traceability.IMS (Integrated Master Schedule).Engineering Resources, internal and external.Supplier interface /Procurement support.EMS (Engineering Manufacturing Support) Interface.Component and Subsystem validation.Product integration.System validation and testing.Reoccurring Engineering for existing and new product lines.Managing all design gates RR, PDR, CDR, TRR and MRR.
