Description:
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Our driver will drive a Fuel/Lube truck with a 1000 gallon diesel tank and lube tanks. Performs project-site daily fueling and lube services, operational checks and preventive maintenance services on a variety of heavy construction equipment and machinery for Holcim's civil division. May require weekend hours. (1,500.00 SIGN ON BONUS)
**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**
+ Safely and correctly transport fuel products by driving a fuel truck between plants, jobsites and facilities to ensure the efficient delivery and pickup of fuel products. Maintain the operational efficiency of vehicles by monitoring truck maintenance needs, conducting minor repairs and conducting daily truck inspections to ensure maximum vehicle safety with limited down time. Perform timely delivery and unloading of products at customer sites, and fostering outstanding customer service.
+ Strive for superior safety and require efficient operations of the truck through pre and post trip inspections, and compliance with company operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations.
+ Ensure compliance with all government regulations and all company and terminal policies and procedures by operating all vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner while loading and unloading of transport.
+ Follow and meet time and delivery requirements by adhering to the pick up and delivery schedule to contribute to operational effectiveness. Maintain and complete accurate log books and driver vehicle inspection reports, fuel product purchases, fuel product deliveries and fuel product sales to contribute to administrative efficiency.
+ Establish and maintain effective customer relations by meeting or exceeding customer requirements to contribute to a positive public relations image.
**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 3 years commercial driving with over-the-road experience.
Excellent communication skills and ability to deal professionally with product suppliers, plant employees, dispatchers, mechanics and other drivers.
Valid Drivers License, CDL Class A. with Tanker & Hazmat endorsements.

+ Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment, including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
