Whiskey has been distilled at Midleton Distillery since 1825. As well as being known for its much-loved whiskey brands including Jameson, Powers, Redbreast, Method and Madness, Green Spot, Knappogue Castle and Midleton Very Rare, the distillery is also home to one of Ireland’s most impressive visitor centres – Midleton Distillery Experience.
Jameson and the wider portfolio of whiskeys are amongst the world’s favourite, and the Visitor Centre exists to offer whiskey fans the opportunity to learn, taste and interact with these whiskeys at the distillery in which they are crafted.
A unique opportunity exists for a Fulfillment Manager to join the team at Midleton Distillery Experience on a permanent basis. Reporting to the visitor centre manager, you will coordinate the day-to-day fulfilment operations for online whiskey/POS sales, as well as contributing to operations relating to the prestigious Midleton Cask Circle private cask owners’ club.
What’s involved?
Take ownership of the end-to-end operations associated with fulfilment and Midleton Cask Circle.Supervise and coordinate the current team of two team members, and future team growth, by assisting with recruitment, training and performance management.Coordinate the stock of packaging materials.Manage stock control and security of finished products.Oversee in-house and third-party logistic providers, including internal stock movements and deliveries via couriers.Supervise the customer service associated with eCommerce and Midleton Cask Circle.Develop the systems and processes associated with eCommerce and Midleton Cask Circle.What are we looking for?
You’ve worked in eCommerce, or in a related business, during which you managed a team and established systems to ensure customer satisfaction.You relish the opportunity to work with world renowned Irish Whiskey brands, such as Jameson.You’ve a qualification in a business, logistics, eCommerce or another related discipline.Experience working within FMCG, fulfilment, logistics, retail, warehousing or a production operation as a manager or supervisor. Experience leading a team.Working knowledge of systems such as Shopify (or other e-commerce platforms), SAP, MS suite software, particularly Excel, and retail EPOS systems.Strong numerical ability.Proven ability to implement process improvements that drive operational efficiencies.Strong communication skills, including report writing and presenting.Project Management skills, including organisation skills, time management, effective communication, negotiation, etc.Life at Irish Distillers
