Position SummaryThe Fulfillment Plant Manager leads and develops fulfillment/plant operations within a multi shift facility. Focuses on team building and creating a best-in-class work environment.Supervises, hires, disciplines, and evaluates hourly and management teams within the fulfillment center.Ensures customer demand is efficiently satisfied while consistently moving the team forward through productivity and quality enhancements.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited toEmbrace, promote, and model Mom’s Meals Core Values: Teamwork, Relentlessly Dependable, Appreciation & Respect, Innovation & Constant Improving, and Delivering ExcellencePromote teamwork and champion employee engagement Coach, develop, and provide regular feedback to exempt and non-exempt team members Conduct performance appraisalsCreate and implement exempt development plansDevelop and execute daily operational plans through partnerships with key business partners, ensuring excellent service to our clients Responsible for key business metrics including labor cost, safety, on-time delivery, order accuracy, and employee turnover Communicate goals and objectives to the fulfillment team, ensuring alignment to overall company goalsChallenge the status quo, driving productivity improvements and cost reductions through ongoing Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives Lead quality improvement and order accuracy effortsOversee Inventory accuracy within the facilityPartnering with Purchasing and Finance to ensure all materials needs are met, eliminating materials-related production slowdownsPartnering with Food Safety & Tech Services to ensure we are meeting FDA, USDA, and General Manufacturing Practice requirementsCreate and maintain a success-oriented, accountable environment within the fulfillment centerEffectively incorporate customer perspectives and feedback into all business activitiesChampion all safety efforts to ensure the safest possible work environment Formulate and implement employee corrective actions as neededMust be willing and able to work occasional weekendsRequired Skills and ExperienceAssociate’s degree 5 years of fulfillment or production leadership experienceDemonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environmentExperience operating within an automated environmentPreferred Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degreePrior experience working in a food related industryLean manufacturing certification or experience leading in a company practicing LeanBilingual in English and SpanishPhysical RequirementsRegularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and armsFrequently required to stand, communicate, and listenOccasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouchOccasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsVisual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusAble to perform repetitive movementsAble to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)Company Overview
