Overview of Position

The Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily fulfillment operations including managing staff, ensuring efficient processes, maintaining safety and quality standards, and the fulfillment of customer orders using a combination of manual and technology solutions. This role involves leading a team to ensure the safe, timely and accurate completion of work tasks, focusing on productivity of customer order picking, timely and accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

II. Job Responsibilities

Supervise, motivate and lead a team of associates supporting order fulfillment, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and managing employee performance, attendance, payroll, goals, administrative duties, etc. Coach and take progressive disciplinary actions when necessary. Foster a positive work environment/culture, lead by example, resolve conflicts, and promote teamwork and problem solving Oversee all customer order fulfillment operations within the warehouse.  This includes the replenishment of inventory into pick areas, small package order picking, packing, quality assurance and shipping for both manual (RF device, cart-based) order picking as well as automated (Pick-to-Light) order picking.  Implement, follow and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).  Use KPI’s to track and continuous improvement tools to adapt SOP’s and improve efficiency and quality of fulfillment operations. Enforce all safety regulations, and procedures, lead incident reporting, maintain a safe and clean working environment and act as lead in emergency response situations to ensure a safe working environment and prevent accidents and injuries.  Oversee the proper and safe usage of warehouse assets including racking, forklifts, pallet jacks, bailers and conveyor systems. Coordinate with inventory management to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment. Monitor and manage workflow to ensure that orders are processed efficiently and meet deadlines. Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies, safety and regulatory requirements. Prepare and present reports/updates on fulfillment activity levels, staffing, performance, inventory, productivity, operational challenges/problem solving etc. to management (Tiered Accountability daily stand-up meetings, end of month Ops Reviews, QBRs, etc.). Attend meetings and projects on behalf of the Fulfillment Department Coordinate with Temp Agency partners to address attendance, performance, behavior, etc., related matters. Communicate effectively with other cross-functional departments to coordinate activities, problem solve challenges and resolve issues. Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.

III. Scope

The Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for the general oversight, planning and coordination of warehouse fulfillment operations. This includes leadership in managing workflow, delegation of tasks, continuous improvements and ensuring that all warehouse fulfillment colleagues are properly trained (and cross-trained) in all relevant aspects of operations. It may include up to ~30 direct reports supporting the operation. Ensures adherence to state and federal laws, OSHA requirements, and all Jason Pharmaceuticals work rules and guidelines.  Ensures KPI’s (ie hourly and daily quotas, efficiencies, deadlines, etc) are met safely and with required accuracy rates.

IV. Knowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Skills
• Strong leadership, communication and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.  Korber experience a plus.
• Knowledge of small package order fulfillment, Pick-to-Light, quality control  standards, and safety regulations.
• Experience in food (raw materials, packaging and finished goods) a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Must be MHE and PIT operator certified, Trainer preferred. Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Six Sigma or Lean Management are also a plus. Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
• Capability to work in various warehouse conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Work Hours:
• Typically 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime and weekend work as needed.
