EquipmentShare is searching for a Fulfillment Supervisor for our corporate office in Columbia, MO, to support our team as the department continues to grow.  

Job Summary:

As a Fulfillment Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily inbound and outbound operations of the warehouse, ensuring that both activities run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This role includes managing receiving, replenishment, returns, selection, shipping, and inventory functions. The Supervisor leads a team of associates, control desk personnel, and trainers, driving productivity, safety, and compliance with company standards. Collaboration with internal departments and external partners is essential for smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This role includes managing receiving, replenishment, returns, selection, shipping, and inventory functions. The Fulfillment Supervisor leads a team of associates, control desk personnel, and trainers, driving productivity, safety, and compliance with company standards. Collaboration with internal departments and external partners is essential for smooth operations and continuous improvement. Duties/Responsibilities: Oversee daily inbound receiving, put-away, replenishment, and outbound order selection, packing, and shipping activities. Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper documentation. Lead and enforce safety protocols, including PPE requirements, machinery operation standards, and facility cleanliness. Plan and adjust labor resources based on workload, forecasts, and business needs. Ensure inventory is accurately inspected, verified, and recorded in the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Use Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and optimize operational performance. Proactively troubleshoot systems, inventory, and shipment issues. Train and coach team members on standard operating procedures and safety compliance. Maintain high standards of sanitation, facility maintenance, and organization. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and process optimization. Facilitate clear communication between teams, leadership, and third-party partners. Address employee performance issues and execute progressive discipline when necessary. Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and transportation to ensure seamless operations. Drive associate engagement and retention. Establish standardized procedures to improve efficiency of team members. Oversee the training of new associates following the training curriculum program. Ability to work day or evening shifts as needed. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Required Skills/Abilities: ERP experience a plus, specifically with Microsoft and Google suite of systems. Capability of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints. Ability to work well independently and cross-functionally as part of an established and growing team. Ability to build effective working relationships, persuade, and influence others. Results driven, utilize knowledge to meet or exceed KPIs and goals. Proven time management skills and quickly adapts to a changing business environment. Able to prioritize responsibilities with the appropriate level of urgency, able to listen and can use this information to solve problems, anticipate issues and make correct decisions based on a variety of situations. Superior communication skills; verbal, written and interpersonal skills; able to listen effectively to solve problems, anticipate issues and make effective decisions as needed. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. 2-year or 4-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar major preferred. At least 3+ years of related experience. Extensive experience and a desire to learn, grow and be part of a successful team REQUIRED!

 

Physical Requirements: Ability to load / unload trucks as required. Ability to select as required. Experience on forklifts and order picker equipment is a plus. Operate warehouse scanning equipment, computers, and other technical devices that are used in automated operations. Ability to move about facility on regular basis to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, or walking.
