Description Robert Half is partnering with a company in Baton Rouge that is searching for an Accountant/Bookkeeper to join their team! This role will perform a variety of administrative, accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures, in order to maintain accurate billings, cash receipts, payroll and reports. Requirements Responsibilities: + Organizes and maintains accurate records for accounts payables and payroll processing. + Processes accounts payables and payroll using the Deltek Costpoint accounting system and ADP Payroll Processing systems. + Ensure that all vendors’ invoices and expense reimbursement requests are properly approved, controlled and processed for payment. + Maintain accurate and complete cash disbursement records to assure compliance with company policies and procedures. + Review approved timesheets and related ADP payroll processing reports to assure payroll is prepared accurately and timely. + Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. + Assist the Chief Financial Officer with analyzing and reconciling accounts each month in order to produce accurate monthly financial management reports. + Input capital assets into the Deltek Costpoint Fixed Asset module to match those assets recorded in the general ledger. + Assist with other accounting or administrative duties as requested. Qualifications: + Knowledge of basic accounting principles in order to process accounting data. + Approximately 5 years of progressively responsible accounting related work experience + Must be proficient in Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office 365 products. + Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills For confidential consideration, please contact Brittany at 504-383-0781.
