Full Charge Bookkeeper
Aston Carter
Responsibilities:
+ Recording Financial Transactions: Keeping accurate records of all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
+ Maintaining General Ledgers: Updating and maintaining the general ledger, which is a comprehensive record of all financial transactions.
+ Reconciling Accounts: Ensuring that the records in the organization's accounts match the corresponding bank statements and correcting any discrepancies.
+ Processing Accounts Payable and Receivable: Tracking and managing money owed by the company (accounts payable) and money owed to the company (accounts receivable).
+ Preparing Financial Reports: Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing financial data to produce reports for management.
+ Assisting with Payroll: Running payroll and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
+ Ensuring Compliance: Making sure that financial records comply with relevant laws and regulations
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
+ 10+ years of experience in Accounting.
+ Experience in Project/Cost Accounting including accounts payable & receivable, payroll, invoice reviewing and developing invoices, employee timesheets, QuickBooks management, profit and loss statements, and credit card review and payment.
+ Proficient in QuickBooks Online Advanced Software and Microsoft Office, including Excel.
+ Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel).
