The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of maintaning a general ledger, collection calls, and purchase and sales. This position plays a critical role in managing the company's financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. 100% IN OFFICE, MUST LIVE IN CHATTANOOGA, TN. salary: $55,000 - $60,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM education: Associate Responsibilities + Maintain Accurate Financial Records: Manage all bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end close processes. + Daily review and correction of general ledger transactions posted through branch activity + Daily posting of returned payments + Processing accounts payable + Preparing and posting journal entry transactions + Preparing and submitting payroll information to payroll vendor for processing bi-weekly payroll + Reconciling bank and general ledger accounts + Monitoring expenses and working with management to improve operations + Filing federal, state, and local reports and taxes. + Accurate filing and retention of documents + Assisting with administration of employee benefits programs and informing employees of benefits + Maintaining employee records and related data + Assisting with budgeting + Working with CPA for year-end audit and tax reports The essential functions of this role include: + working in a smoke free environment + working in a non-temperature controlled environment Skills + Bank Reconciliations + General Ledger + Accounts Payable + Financial Statements + Accounts Receivable + Collections Qualifications + Years of experience: 2 years + Experience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
