Description We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Santa Barbara, California. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for customer service on bookkeeping matters, managing your workload independently, and continuously improving your technical and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: • Providing outstanding customer service on all bookkeeping related matters. • Working directly with senior staff, partners, and clients. • Managing your workload and priorities independently. • Handling Adjusting Journal Entries and Account Reconciliation tasks. • Processing Payroll Tax Returns. • Preparing financial statements. • Ensuring accuracy and reliability in all tasks. • Maintaining a detail-oriented attitude and demonstrating integrity in all actions. • Utilizing Microsoft and Excel in day-to-day tasks. • Showing dedication to teamwork and strong interpersonal skills. • Continuously enhancing your technical and interpersonal skills. Requirements • Must possess a strong understanding of Adjusting Journal Entries • Experience with Payroll Tax Returns is required • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary • Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements is essential • Must have a keen eye for detail and high levels of accuracy • Strong knowledge in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines is necessary • Possess strong organizational and analytical skills • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
