Description Robert Half Finance and Accounting has partnered with a reputable company in North Dallas to identify a QuickBooks Bookkeeper. The QuickBooks Bookkeeper must have 5 + years full charge bookkeeping experience and will be responsible for the following: + Reviewing and analyzing invoices, processing payments, posting to accounts payable and receivables. + Ensuring timely and accurate payments to and maintaining communications with vendors. + Processing of semi-monthly payroll + Monitoring bank accounts daily to ensure availability of funds + Preparing journal entries for various allocations and accruals. Allocating and recording funds to correct cost centers and general ledger accounts. + Matching payments to corresponding invoice back-up documentation. + Performing bank account reconciliations. + Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures. + Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions. + Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries. + Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries. + Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries. + Maintains historical records by filing documents. + Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
