Description We are in search of an organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in NORWALK, Connecticut. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, your role will involve maintaining financial records, handling the general ledger, and assisting with auditing processes. This role is a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Utilizing QuickBooks Online for various bookkeeping tasks • Performing forensic bookkeeping using trial balances to build a general ledger • Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of about 150 entries a year • Overseeing a light volume of Accounts Payable with 10-20 monthly transactions • Assisting with audit processes as needed • Utilizing computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Excel for various tasks • Managing a range of accounting functions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable • Preparing and maintaining the annual budget • Conducting cash flow analysis as required • Preparing trial balances as part of the role's responsibilities. Requirements • Possession of a minimum of 2 years of experience in a full charge bookkeeping role. • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems. • Experience with Computerized Accounting Systems. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Ability to perform all Accounting Functions. • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Experience in preparing and managing an Annual Budget. • Ability to perform Cash Flow Analysis. • Proficient in maintaining and managing the General Ledger. • Experience in preparing Trial Balances. • Ability to prepare and present a Trial Balance.
