Description An expanding construction company seeks a hardworking Full Charge Bookkeeper with a strong background in construction and proficiency in QuickBooks. This role is crucial for maintaining our financial records, including purchases, receipts and payments. Primary responsibilities: Conduct invoicing for our construction projects, utilizing progress draws. Regularly review QuickBook reports and job costs to determine the right timing for invoicing. Manage an average of 100-200 projects at any given time, adeptly handling the high volume of work. Use FileMaker to track project completion and be ready to transition to Salesforce for all accountings in future. Streamline and improve invoicing processes as needed. Ideal candidates need to have: Extensive experience in bookkeeping within the construction industry. A solid understanding of billing as it relates to the construction process, specifically with progress draws. Expertise in QuickBooks and a willingness to learn new tracking platforms like FileMaker and Salesforce. Ability to work independently and effectively manage high volumes of work. This is a full-time role with potential for a flexible work arrangement, including the possibility of remote work for a certain period. However, on a permanent basis, candidates will be expected to work onsite.
