We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in our team, based in Coral Springs, Florida. This role is crucial to our wholesale distribution business, where you will be handling a range of duties from processing transactions to reconciling accounts. Our client is a well-oiled 30-year-old distributing company that sees little turnover and treats employees like family. We are seeking a new F/C Bookkeeper due to a retirement after 20 years! Responsibilities:
• Managing the entire accounting functions including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Performing cash flow analysis and preparing income statements
• Conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliation and preparing balance sheets
• Overseeing in-house payroll and manual payroll operations
• Utilizing computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Excel for various tasks
• Handling banking letters of credit and lock box operations
• Assisting with the preparation of the annual budget
• Ensuring the accuracy of all financial records and reports
• Using accounting software systems for efficient operations
• Resolving customer inquiries and maintaining accurate customer credit records.
Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper role or similar is mandatory.
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Experience with Computerized Accounting System is essential.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary.
• In-depth knowledge of Accounting Functions is expected.
• Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• Experience in preparing and managing an Annual Budget is necessary.
• Capabilities in Cash Flow Analysis are expected.
• Knowledge of both In-House and Manual Payroll processes is required.
• Experience with Monthly Balance Sheet preparation and reconciliation is essential.
• Ability to prepare Balance Sheets and Income Statements is required.
• Experience with Banking Letters of Credit is necessary.
• Familiarity with the Lock Box system is a plus.
