Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in Salem, Oregon, for a Full Charge Bookkeeper. Responsibilities: • Handle weekly payroll management for a workforce of union and non-union employees • Administer components of payroll including 401(k), health insurance, and others • Maintain and balance the company bank account regularly • Prepare and file taxes which include quarterly • Process monthly union payments • Generate certified payroll reports as and when needed • Provide assistance for Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) • Perform other accounting duties within our company as required. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required • Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting functions • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential • Proficiency with QuickBooks software is necessary • Ability to handle in-house payroll operations • Experience with payroll garnishments is needed • Experience in managing payroll for under 100 employees • Familiarity with union payroll is beneficial Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
