Description
We are looking to add a Full Charge Bookkeeper to our team in Monmouth County, New Jersey. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a variety of financial tasks, including payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize Accounting Software for various bookkeeping tasks
• Handle local payroll tax duties as required
• Manage the payroll process, ensuring all staff are paid on time and accurately
• Oversee accounts receivable to ensure all money owed to the company is invoiced and collected
• Maintain accounts payable, ensuring all financial obligations are met in a timely manner
• Use Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data
• Process and manage purchase orders as necessary.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role
• Knowledge of Local Payroll Tax and general payroll processes
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary
• Familiarity with handling Purchase Orders
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
