Description We are in search of a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team, located in WESTLAND, Michigan. This role will involve you in a variety of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end close procedures. The selected candidate will also be responsible for providing tax-related information to the CPA firm and possibly partaking in the implementation of Sage software. This is a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee the complete accounts payable and accounts receivable processes • Perform regular bank and account reconciliations • Participate in month-end close procedures and ensure accuracy in financial statements • Provide necessary tax information to the CPA firm in a timely and accurate manner • Possibly assist in the implementation of Sage software, if needed • Monitor and maintain records for approximately 50 employees • Ensure appropriate cash flow analysis and financial forecasting • Proficiently use Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions • Maintain customer credit records consistently and accurately • Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally Requirements • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role • Proficiency in accounting software systems, demonstrating a strong technical acumen • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and other relevant functions • Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions and principles • Experience handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to conduct thorough cash flow analysis and provide actionable insights • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with clients and team members • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
