Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the accounting industry for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Santa Barbara, California. This role involves managing all aspects of bookkeeping, including maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring all financial functions are carried out efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities • Oversee and manage all general bookkeeping responsibilities. • Accurately process and record transactions, including adjusting journal entries. • Prepare and submit payroll tax returns in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. • Handle account reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. • Prepare and analyze financial statements to evaluate the organization's financial performance. • Manage sales tax returns and Forms 571-L, ensuring all documents are accurate and submitted on time. • Maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism in all aspects of the role. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data. • Collaborate with the team and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations. • Proactively identify and solve problems, demonstrating a high level of initiative.
