Description We are working with a reputable and dynamic client who is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage their full-cycle bookkeeping and ensure the accuracy and integrity of their financial records. This is an excellent role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys having full oversight of bookkeeping responsibilities. Job Responsibilities: + Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries, adjustments, and account reconciliations. + Oversee accounts receivable (billing, invoicing, cash application) and accounts payable (vendor payments, reconciliations). + Process payroll using [insert payroll system, e.g., ADP, QuickBooks, etc.] and ensure accurate tax filings and compliance. + Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. + Monitor bank accounts and perform reconciliations to maintain proper cash management. + Handle sales tax reporting and compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. + Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analysis as needed. + Collaborate with external auditors or accountants to facilitate year-end closings or audits. + Maintain and safeguard confidentiality of financial information and company records. Requirements + Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role. + Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. + Strong understanding of GAAP and solid accounting knowledge. + Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. + Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered. + Certification such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or similar is a plus.
