Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the non-profit industry in Grand Rapids, Michigan for a Full Charge Bookkeeper. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for maintaining and managing financial records using Quickbooks Online and other relevant software. Your main responsibilities will include processing accounts payable and receivable, managing payroll, performing account and bank reconciliations, and providing month-end support. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage all accounting functions • Maintain and process accounts payable and receivable • Manage payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Conduct regular account and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy • Provide support during month-end procedures, including journal entries and accruals • Utilize Quickbooks Online for bookkeeping tasks and financial management • Leverage Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis • Ensure adherence to non-profit accounting standards and practices. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) • Proficiency in using Quickbooks Online • Capable of performing Account Reconciliation • Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations • Knowledge of Non-profit Accounting • Solid experience in Bookkeeping • Previous experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper • Familiarity with Full Charge Bookkeeping • Ability to perform Month-end Journal Entries • Experience with Monthly Accruals • Ability to manage Payroll • Experience with In-House Payroll • Experience managing Payroll for under 100 Employees Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
