Full Charge Bookkeeper
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the industry for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in MARION, Iowa. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for the entire financial management of the firm, from maintaining detailed records to preparing financial statements. This key role demands a proactive and hands-on approach with a strong understanding of accounting principles. Responsibilities: • Oversee the accurate recording of financial transactions in the general ledger. • Handle accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collections and payments. • Manage payroll processes, including deductions, tax filings, and administration of benefits. • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy. • Track project-specific financials, including budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking. • Work closely with external accountants during tax season for accurate and timely filing. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) • Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to manage and prepare Annual Budget • Experience with Full Cycle Payroll • Proficiency in executing Month End Close procedures • Knowledge of Month-end Financial activities • Experience with Month-end Close Activities • Ability to perform Monthly Account Reconciliation • Preparation of Month-end Reports • Ability to create Month-end Journal Entries • Comprehensive understanding of General Ledger management • Experience with making Journal Entries • Proficiency in Bank Account Reconciliation • Experience with Bank Reconciliations • Ability to conduct Credit Card Reconciliation • Experience with Billing procedures and systems Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
