Established restaurant is currently hiring a Full Charge Bookkeeper. The position is full time. Office hours are Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule. No evenings or weekends and the company will not consider telecommuting or work from home bookkeepers. The starting pay is up to $60,000, depending on experience.
The business consists of multiple locations throughout the state that include dine-in and delivery services. Individuals interested in this position must have recent experience as a full charge bookkeeper or possibly an accountant familiar with managing operating accounts for a busy business. The main office is very quiet with a small staff. You will report to the owner and work closely with the HR Director and clerical staff as well as meeting with restaurant managers and shift managers.
The Full Charge Bookkeeper is responsible for full cycle accounting for the company. All accounts receivable and payable. Oversee operating accounts, cut checks, pay vendors, negotiate vendor pricing and contracts. Review and approve purchase orders, analysis of inventory, P&L, monthly reporting and other duties. Work closely with Accountant/CPA for quarterly filing. Manage payroll through ADP.

Intermediate QuickBooks experience
Advanced understanding of accounting terminology and principles
