Together our team supports V Department with systems engineering, software engineering and fleet support, element evaluation and system test support and development\/production environment support. V14 has a need for a software developer work on Web Application that will deploy Tactical as a Service (TaaS). We are looking for a candidate familiar with version control technologies such as Git, virtualization technologies such as VMware and vCenter, and popular development tools like VSCode.\n
Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop well-designed, efficient, and testable code for the full stack using industry standards and best practices.\nEnsure all code contributions include reviews for test coverage, style guidelines, accuracy, and efficiency.\nIntegrate data from back-end services and databases.\nDebug, test, and fix errors and issues in software front-end and back-end.\nContinuously update documentation as required to ensure maintainability and transparency of design.\n\n

Requirements:\n\nU.S. Citizenship and Active or Interim DoD SECRET clearance.\nBachelor of Science in a computer science or related field.\nMinimum of (3) three years of experience in software development with experience in the below areas: \n\nFull stack development experience using JavaScript, CSS, Python, and SQL.\nDocker\/Containerization.\n\n\nKnowledge of RESTful web services and APIs.\nProven experience with Bash, or other UNIX based shells.\nExperience Frontend & Backend design.\nExperience with Git, SVN, or any version control software.\nStrong problem-solving and attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to work independently and multi-task effectively.\nUnderstanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).\n\n

Preferred Qualifications:\n\nIDEs, preferably Visual Studio Code.\nExperience with CI\/CD systems, preferably GitLab CI.\nUnderstanding of database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, MariaDB).\nProficiency with RedHat, preferably RHEL 8.\nKnowledge of Python modules such as Celery, Pandas, and NumPy.\nExperience with VMware\/Virtualization technologies.\nKnowledge of PowerShell and PowerCLI.\n\n
