Primary Responsibilities:

 

Design and develop innovative AI-powered solutions, integrating workflows for advanced content classification, metadata enrichment, and storage optimization. Build and maintain a dynamic, user-friendly front-end interface that supports administrators, editors, and viewers in managing and optimizing media assets. Deploy and maintain scalable, reliable applications in AWS environments, leveraging services like Lambda, S3, and Rekognition for seamless performance. Continuously improve and optimize application performance, focusing on scalability, maintainability, and cost efficiency. Lead the design and automation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing, building, and deployment processes. Conduct collaborative code reviews, promoting adherence to best practices for performance, security, and scalability. Work closely with internal and external teams to align architecture with project goals, ensuring robust and scalable solutions. Develop automated processes for analyzing and classifying archival content and managing storage tiers effectively. Build data-driven reporting and analytics features, including storage insights, cost estimates, and classification metrics. Proactively monitor and resolve production issues using AWS tools like CloudWatch, X-Ray, and S3 Storage Lens. Provide clear, comprehensive technical documentation to support implementation, maintenance, and knowledge transfer. Collaborate on defining acceptance criteria for MVP implementation and give to backlog management for future development. Apply and advocate for best practices in security and compliance across all project deliverables. Build and innovate tools that streamline workflows across ingest, playout, post-production, and archival systems, directly enhancing the efficiency and creativity within the department.
  Basic Qualifications:
  5+ years of experience and proficiency in Python and AWS services, including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and Rekognition. Experience in front-end development using React and building user-centered workflows. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies with AWS services. Experience integrating AI/ML workflows and APIs into scalable applications. Hands-on experience with optimizing solutions for performance and maintainability in AWS environments. Familiarity with AWS monitoring and management tools like S3 Storage Lens and CloudWatch. Knowledge of role-based access controls and secure authentication methods (e.g., Okta).
  Additional Qualifications:
  AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certifications are an advantage. Understanding of cloud security and DevOps practices. Experience working in professional services or consulting environments is valued.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $145,000.00 - 165,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
