Within MITRE’s Intelligence Center, the Adversary Intelligence Department has the mission to provide deep technical and regional analysis on emerging threats to the United States and its interests in support of USG policy, strategy, integrated capabilities, test & evaluation, and resource investments. Our vision is to enable national security policymakers to anticipate and prepare for future adversarial threats by revolutionizing intelligence analysis and capabilities, empowering them to see beyond the horizon and confidently navigate emerging national and global challenges. The Department is accountable and responsible for programs with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).
Roles & Responsibilities:
The Adversary Intelligence Department harnesses the power of advanced tools and innovative techniques to address complex challenges faced by the US government. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced IT professionals in a vibrant and dynamic setting, making a substantial contribution to resolving some of the government's most intricate issues.
In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to create scalable front-end and back-end software solutions that address the complex challenges faced by the Intelligence Community. As part of the MITRE team, your responsibilities will include designing and developing innovative web architectures, managing databases, and ensuring the seamless responsiveness of applications, among other exciting tasks.
You should possess a genuine passion for developing comprehensive end-to-end solutions that address real-world challenges, coupled with an innate curiosity and a natural inclination for tackling complex problems, even when faced with open-ended tasks. As a Full Stack Developer, you will:
Support the development and deployment of applications to address sponsor challenges, with a willingness to adapt and learn.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Translate user requirements into robust, scalable, and efficient code.Present your solutions in a clear and user-friendly manner that can be understood by all sponsor audiences, regardless of their technical expertise.Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.Active TS/SCI clearance with a FS poly.Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar roleProficiency in front-end and back-end languages (e.g. JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Golang). Proficiency with commonly used frameworks (e.g. Vue, React, HTMX).Basic knowledge of server-side languages and database technologies.Basic knowledge of writing SQL statements.Experience with CSS frameworks (e.g. Material Bootstrap, Tailwind)Experience working within a Linux based environment (e.g. command line, shell scripting, etc.)Knowledge of code repository tools and IDEs.This position has an on-site requirement of 5 days a week on-site.Preferred Qualifications:
