**Full Stack Developer Intern** Norfolk, NE, US, 68701-7227 **Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD)** has an immediate opening for a **Technical Analyst Intern** located at the **Norfolk Operations Center** in **Norfolk, Nebraska.** Position closes March 11, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Central Time. This is a temporary position in cooperation with the **Wayne State College Growing Together program** . Approximate assignment dates are from August 18, 2025 - May 1, 2026, and the successful candidate will be required to work 30-40 hours per week as outlined in the program guide. Occasional travel to Columbus, NE, may be required for training purposes and team collarboration. This position will report to the Corporate Applications Support Supervisor. Get to know us more here (https://www.nppd.com/about-us/our-values) . **Position Summary** We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer Intern who is passionate about enhancing their skills in both front-end and back-end development, integrations, as well as configuration within the ERP landscape. As a Full Stack Developer, your responsibilities will include: • Software Development Process: Participate in the complete software development process from conception to deployment. • Maintenance and Upgrades: Maintain and upgrade software following configuration changes. • Life Cycle Management: Take part in end-to-end life cycle management projects for the production of software and applications. • Development Oversight: Engage in the analysis, writing, building, and deployment of software. • Modifications and Testing: Modify and test changes to previously developed programs. **Education, Training and Experience** The Intern must be enrolled at Wayne State College and a member of the Career Scholars Cooperative Education Program with senior standing at the time of assignment, majoring in Computer Science and/or Information Systems. Incumbent may travel to various NPPD locations throughout the state of Nebraska and must have and maintain a valid driver's license for the duration of the position. Experience + Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others on multiple activities, with flexibility to manage competing demands and changing priorities. + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills. + Excellent analytical problem-solving skills. + Must be customer-service oriented and adaptable to ongoing change. **Ideal Technical Skills** Experience with Object Oriented Programming Experience with or motivated to learn and provide: • Technical Support and Software Configuration of Materials Management and Inventory Processing • Technical Support and Software Configuration for Procurement and Accounts Payable Processing • Coordinate Support Services Contract with 3rd Party Vendors • Develop and support Exports and Imports to multiple sources • Experience with Developing in an (ERP) Environment **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** Analyze, design, develop, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and provide direction and support for complex systems, applications and databases in support of the District’s computing environment. Provide technical architecture recommendations and apply best practices in system design, development, and testing. Collaborate with/advise/coach other ET/Corporate Security and business unit analysts to ensure understanding of business and technical work processes, tools, and best practices. Evaluate, create, document, and test complex system-related interfaces and integration. Maintains efficient and effective management of vendor contract service relationships pertaining to technical services.
