Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Full Stack Developer Jr and Mid to join our team! In this role you will get to work in a LEMP Stack environment (Linux, Nginx, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and PHP) designing and implementing new feature additions and site improvements.
What You'll Be Doing:
Work with other departments, stakeholders, and customers on software development, functionality, improvements, internal tools, and implementation issues by leveraging experience in all aspects of the software development life cycle as well as ASP.NET MVC, Web API, LINQ, OOP, Design Patterns, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, common libraries such as jQuery, query syntax for relational databases, and coding, compliance, and security standards.Write unit tests, refactor existing code, and work with existing codebases software design and architecture skills, additionally leveraging experience working with agile team members to develop frameworks and libraries like Laravel, ReactJS, Bootstrap3, and Google Maps and overall striving for high quality and rapid output while using agile software development best practices and regularly interact with clients and internal business units, organizing and documenting requirements for projects.Plays a critical role within the team, focusing on the integration and delivery of technology solutions and EA projects.Responsibilities encompass a broad range of activities aimed at enhancing the strategic and operational capabilities of the organization.Involved in the research, design, and development of EA projects, ensuring that these initiatives align with both mid- and long-term enterprise and strategic C4 planning.Developing and managing data handling and processing systems, particularly those involving Big Data, across the SIE.In support of DevSecOps, focus on new developments with a particular emphasis on SIE Cloud efforts and work closely with the Government to identify and analyze gaps within the current systems and processes.Identifying gaps, presenting findings and collaborating in the development of strategic solutions to address these issues.Responsible for providing a detailed implementation plan for each project and ensuring the quality of the project deliverables and offering necessary training to support Government personnel.Ensures that each project is closed out in accordance with the standards set by the PMBOK and provides transition support to ensure a smooth handover upon project completion.Provide dedicated database development support, establishing a centrally managed data warehouse that integrates functionally diverse data and work with a team to develop migrate, test, document, and integrate both current and legacy GOTS and COTS databases, software, applications, and content.Implements predictive and preventative development enhancements to ensure the robustness and efficiency of the data warehouse.Provide training material input to training staff. They assist in performing training when technical expertise is required.As a Junior, they apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. They perform work that requires practical experience and training. They work under the technical guidance and supervision of Journeyman staff.
As a Journeyman, they leverage expertise on multiple complex assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish the task. They operate with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions while contributing to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable. They supervise and provide direct technical guidance to Junior level staff.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Must have a current Top Secret clearance with SCI elegibilityJunor - BS Degree and 2+ years experience
Journeyman - BS Degree and 5+ years experience.
