JOIN THE TEAMWe are looking for an Full Stack Developer with a wide range of skills and knowledge to effectively develop and maintain both the front-end and back-end components of enterprise-grade IT solutions for BASF Agricultural.

Proficiency in multiple technologiesEnd-to-end developmentFront-end developmentBack-end developmentDatabase managementTesting and debuggingDeployment and DevOpsCollaborationProblem SolvingUser-Centric FocusDETAILED TASKS Mobile Strategy Developer, both iOS and Android apps for agricultural solutions (internal and external users)Develop different apps for different users with different use cases. Already 20 apps in-live in more than 30 countriesYou develop novel user interfaces and analytics modules for our biochemistry researchers to generate, manipulate, and visualize their dataYou will identify, extract, transform, load, integrate, and display data from multiple internal and external data sourcesTo achieve this, you collaborate with internal and external IT partners, while keeping frequent communication with the users to understand their needs and develop frequently tested solutions.You can estimate development efforts in both time and required human capacity. You support the product owners on data science-related efforts (e.g., concepts, scalability, risk-management)You will participate in and contribute to the global agricultural solutions, data science, and research & development communities at BASF.QUALIFICATIONS Degree or equivalent experience in software engineering, data sciences, bioinformatics, cheminformatics, natural science, or a related field of study o several years of working experience on complex data sets, in an agile manner.Complete Mobile App Developer, with experience in all the phases of development including design, testing, and troubleshootingKnowledge of front-end development with skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript and familiarity with modern frameworks (e.g. Angular)Hands-on experience with back-end work such as: Java and KotlinRESTful APIs (especially Fast API)Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Data-centric and with Governance (Spotify as clear example).
