Full-Stack Production Support Lead

What can you expect?

Guy Carpenter IT Product Support seek a talented Full-Stack Production Support Lead with solid background in supporting Single-Page Applications, Microservices, and Document-style databases. Ideally who can also work out of our New York City office.You will have responsibility for overseeing the maintenance and support of our MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack applications.Leading a team of production support engineers, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of our applications.

We will count on you to:

Lead and mentor a team of production support engineers in maintaining and supporting our MERN stack applications in a production environment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure the stability, availability, and performance of our applications.Monitor and analyze application performance metrics to identify and resolve any performance issues.Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, including investigating root causes and implementing appropriate solutions.Develop and implement best practices for incident management, problem management, and change management processes.Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in MERN stack development and production support.Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and provide accurate estimates for project timelines.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of production support processes.

What you need to have: 

Extensive experience in supporting Full-Stack applications,Experience working and supporting enterprise cloud solutions.Proven leadership, people management & mentoring skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.


The applicable base salary range for this role is $81,400 to $162,700.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
