The Custom Development group is looking for a dynamic and energetic full stack developer to help us build the engineering platform of the future. As a part of this growing team, you will help advance the way technology is used in the building design profession by creating applications and tools used by our engineering professionals.
ResponsibilitiesHere is what we have in store for you:
As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will have a proven track record of delivering web applications, including designing, architecting, and developing dynamic web applications that include front-end client applications and back-end APIs using GraphQL. You will have experience with the latest cloud technologies and web frameworks for delivering high performance web applications. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications. You will have excellent communication skills to collaborate with the development team, key stakeholders, and users. Using your expertise, you will be responsible for managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables to quickly turn business requirements into functioning applications.
Gathering business requirements and developing specifications for web-based applicationsProviding technical assistance to web administratorsIntegrating websites with back-end systems such as databasesWriting test plans and test results Developing, maintaining, and supporting technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software componentsPerforming installation, maintenance and support of system software/hardware and user supportConfiguring, debugging, and supporting multiple infrastructure platformsPerforming high-level root-cause analysis for service interruption recovery and creating preventive measures Managing, monitoring, and maintaining company databasesMaking requested changes, updates and modifications to database structure and dataEnsuring database security, integrity, stability, and system availabilityMaintaining database backup and recovery infrastructure Qualifications
Expertise of our most successful Full Stack Software Developer:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from an accredited program; or commensurate degree and experience.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment with constantly evolving project requirements.Ability to understand and implement the software design process to deliver tools, including project management, version control software.Proficiency with ASPNET Core and Entity Framework Core.Proficiency with source code control tools such as GitHub.Proficiency with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) such as GitHub Actions.Proficiency in Web Applications Development using (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON).Proficiency developing modern web applications with React, Apollo/Relay, and GraphQL.Proficiency with developing database systems using PostgreSQL, or equivalent.Effective skills to help you flourish:
Proficiency with JavaScript visualization libraries (d3.js, Antv, or equivalent).Proficiency with diagraming architectural and design concepts in a tool like MIRO.Experience with deploying and monitoring applications in Microsoft Azure.Experience with developing microservice architecture-based applications.Experience with an Agile project management methodology (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).Our dedication to you:

Estimated starting salary range: $140,000 - $145,000
