Description:Trinity Health Mid Atlantic - Nazareth Hospital is looking for an APP to join our General Orthopedic practice in Philadelphia, PA. Ortho experience preferred.

Trinity Health Mid Atlantic - Nazareth Hospital is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic practice in Philadelphia, PA.

Work closely with our general orthopedic surgeon - wide variety of surgeries.APP will manage patients in the outpatient clinic setting with occasional involvement in the operation room and hospitalFracture care, joint replacement, sports medicine, arthroscopy, hand, foot/ankle.Office Hours: 8:30 - 5 PMOn-site Xray, in-house bracing, physical therapy on campusAt least one year of Ortho experience required.Benefits package includes Medical/Dental/Vision, 403(b) retirement package with company match, Tuition Forgiveness program, Generous PTO, CME, and more!

Nazareth Hospital is located in Northeast Philadelphia, just 20 minutes to center city. Nazareth is a 200-bed community academic/teaching hospital with residents in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, a one-year residency training in Transitional Year and Pharmacy, and a Cardiology Fellowship program.


The APP will provide coordination, planning and implementation of health-related services that best meet the needs of patients and their families.  Incorporate education plans into daily patient activity while integrating primary and secondary diagnosis.  The APP will assume accountability for managing the delivery of patient and act as a patient advocate and uphold patient's rights.  Will work in a collaborative team environment; consulting and referring to other Health Care professionals in our health system.   At times asked to perform as a preceptor to NP students and PA's.

Requirements:

Master's Degree required
PA or NP License required
